Tues Night Ride

Morning,
Starting tomorrow 21/02/12 at the shop a ride leaving at 18:00 (if enough people can't make it at that time we may put it back till 18:15, post comment here), route will be Caerphilly C/Gang route. It's not Chaingang! Just a ride.

Well a poor showing tonight, only 2 turned up!
So I'll say a big thanks to Captain James 'T Kirk' Hansell (because he has warp speed at the moment) for dragging my arse upto Ponty & back, I was hoping for a decent size group to sit on as I'm very unfit. Not to be so I told James I'd only be doing that.
So thanks, Captain.

I must have turned up for the wrong ride yesterday, could anyone who went on the "steady ride" (see 1st post) let me know how it went? Still took me back to Caerphilly chaingang in 90s, I'll be dusting off my race bike for the next one! It was nice to get up to 29mph on the flats too, haven't used 53 x 13 for a while. Could have been worse, at lease Alun Owen wasn't out with us too otherwise I'd have needed the 12, not sure my rear mech can find it these days tho. :-)
Good luck for the Maindy Crits to those of you who've entered, just remember, don't leave you best ride on the club run!

Train more
Remember to re-charge lights
Ride a better bike (just in case!)
