For us poor exiles, forced to work in England, the race reports are a vital way to keep in touch with what is happening.......so who is going to tell me what happened on Tuesday.
I promise I'll do a report for tonight - it will be along the lines of:
FRIGGIN' CRAMP AGAIN ! Actually trying some Trigger Mortis compression socks to see if that stops it.........

got 4th, Courtney buried himself on several occasions in the cause and still came back for more - Chapeau!!
Stu started the sprint for 14th and then gave up.
Angharad got in the winning break but got spat with 4 laps to go :-(
Great effort though and paved the way for Matt's last minute do or die with two to go :-)
Bees won from Simmo.
No Matt tonight so guess you'll all be working for Stu??

Only teasing Courters...if you, Matt and Stu aren't there we will have to ride for someone else ? Steve Eds or Shazza or Shepps riding ? James Norman or Luke ? Oh well, if the worst comes to the worst we'll have to be very animated and put someone into a break. Anga Banga ?

we road as a team.
we did not ride on the front for an hour with the break in the next county.
Anharad got in the break because of team work. She was good.
Oh. Talking of team. We all had matching tops.

I had the dreaded cramp attacks after 25 fast and furious minutes so didn't see the end of the race. JIFFIES present were Benny, Ian, Eds, Trigger Mortis, Rhodri, Anga Banga and myself.
We raced clockwise with the chicane in and the wind was strong, slightly crossy, blowing us up towards the chicane and obviously headish down the back straight. Low strong sun and one hung low.
Unfortunately myself, Trigger, Anga and Rhodri were too much to the rear when the pace suddenly exploded on the 2nd or 3rd lap. I tried to give Rhodri and Trigger my wheel but only just made it myself back on and discovered I was on my own.
In my desperation to counter my cramp I had invested in some Trigger compression socks. These proved too much visually for Ogmore Girl and she promptly deposited the contents of her stomach all over the side of the track. True.
After my crampage that left Benny, Eds and Ian to battle it out. Not sure what happened thereafter. dd.
